If you would like to visit and fellowship with us, please use Mapquest to
retrieve step-by-step driving instructions. Our church address is 1505
W. Cheltenham Ave., in Elkins Park, PA 19027.
Our church is committed to the importance of the relationship to God and
our fellowman and we want to be a vibrant part of the community on both
sides of Cheltenham Avenue, including: making disciples; making contact
with people and building a relationship with them; evangelizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; and
teaching them. We want our church to be a place where: every member is
mature in the word of God; and each member, child and adult, young and
old, is cared for spiritually; every officer is trained and the administration
of the office is conducted with integrity; a healthy, spirit-filled environment
is fostered, promoting a warm and friendly place to all who enter these
walls; and souls will be won for the Kingdom of God. We are here to serve.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in
Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,
dead and buried; the third day He rose from the dead, He ascended into
heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from
thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Church Universal, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness
of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of all things, Judge
of all men, we acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness
which we from time to time most grievously have committed by thought,
word, and deed against Your divine majesty, provoking most justly your
wrath and indignation against us. We do earnestly repent and are heartily
sorry for these our misdoings; the remembrance of them is grievous unto
us. Have mercy upon us, Have mercy upon us, Most merciful Father for
your Son our Lord Jesus Christ's sake; forgive us all that is past, and
grant that we may ever hereafter serve and please you in newness of life,
to the honor and glory of Your name, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
